The 2021 Screen Actors Guild Awards aired on Sunday, April 4, in a one-hour, pre-taped event. This year, there was no red carpet, no host, no set, but the producers kept special moments such as I Am An Actor and In Memoriam, and, of course, the winners’ acceptance speeches.

Jimmy Fallon, Ethan Hawke, Lily Collins, Henry Golding and Helen Mirren were just some of the presenters on the show, and the awards were announced via Zoom, with the participation of the nominated actors in each category and properly honoring the past year’s top acting performances by keeping the acceptance speeches intact.

The film that went home with the biggest prize for ensemble film cast is The Trial of the Chicago 7 (dir. Aaron Sorkin).
